Scotian Gold’s 6th Annual Fun Day proved to be a hit as families from all around came out to enjoy the fun, food, and sunshine the day had to offer. Adults and children of all ages took advantage of the rides, games, and contests offered through out the day. Queen Annapolisa herself was seen toting a smile as she gracefully moved down the slides while touring through the valley.

With live entertainment hosted by KROCK’s own Colin & Kate and stellar performances by Maritimes own Country Grass and Dance ConXion; onlookers kept their toes tapping and bodies dancing the whole day long. The ever-popular apple eating and ice creaming eating contests provided a spectacular turn out; many contestants were leaving with sticky hands, white mustaches and massive brain freeze!

Thanks to all those who volunteered and contributed in making Scotian Gold’s Fun Day a success. We recognize that such an event would not occur without the support of our local communities and organizations. As a result, partial precedes return to the community to help develope various programs.(list)
