Packing

All our apples are carefully hand-picked into bins. Once received at our plant, the apples are submerged in water, washed, cleaned and finally waxed. They then move through our computer-controlled six lane grader system, which weighs, sizes, color sorts and labels the apples appropriately. The fruit is then trayed, celled or bagged, depending on our customers' needs.

Storage

We can store close to 435000 bushels (42 lbs) in controlled atmosphere (CA) storage and another 230000 bushels in cold storage. Each storage room is automatically computer monitored and controlled for oxygen, carbon dioxide and temperature.
