Scott Coleman: Manager Retail Operations and Specialist in Orchard/Vineyard supplies.

Jodi Clouston: Pet Specialist. She attended NSAC and obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Agriculture, majoring in Animal Science. Jodi can help with all your pet questions and provide you with everything from litter to leashes.

Mandy Fraser: Retail Supervisor. Mandy heads up the customer Service area at the country Store. She also takes care of several sales programs, including Chick Days and Fish Days.

Jeff Knowles: Retail Supervisor specializing in Fencing and Livestock products. Please feel free to contact him for any farm or hardware needs.

Milton Merrett: Warehouse Supervisor also dealing with our hardware and fencing. Milton is your contact for crop input needs.

Pet Supplies

Our pet section has grown to where it now takes up nearly a third of our retail space. Our full time pet specialist keeps this section fully stocked with the latest selection of high quality foods, toys, treats and accessories. Our extensive selection of pet foods includes brand names such as Eukanuba, Techni Cal, Nutro, ProSeries, Big Red, Wellness, Canidae, Innova an Royal Canin. We also carry an extensive line of bird feeders, as well as locally grown and imported birdseed products.

Orchard Supplies

We are the largest dealer of orchard supplies in Atlantic Canada. We carry a complete range of specialized orchard supplies including pruning equipment, trellis supplies, pressure treated posts, picking baskets, ladders and grafting supplies. We also supply our growers with fruit trees through our relationships with nurseries across North America. We pride ourselves in supplying almost anything a grower needs to produce their crops and operate their farms, and will go out of our way to source it if we do not have it in stock.

Crop Protection

Scotian Gold owns and operates a 5000 sq. ft Phase 3 warehouse to store crop protection chemicals. We stock almost any pesticide or foliar nutrient product that would be used on any crops grown in the Maritimes. Our knowledgeable staff, both in the store and in the field, is available to customize pest control programs for the growers.

Livestock

We provide a full service package to the livestock producers of all size. We have a large selection of bagged feed, and can also deliver bulk feed through our relationship with Co-op Atlantic. We have a full line of livestock equipment such as water bowls, feeders and fountains, fencing supplies, veterinary supplies and animal handling equipment.

Fencing

We carry fencing systems and parts for several different applications. We have two staff trained in electric farm fence installation and trouble shooting. We have helped customers install al kinds of farm fence, including page wire, barbed wire, solar electric, even game wire to keep deer away from apple trees!

Seed

We carry a full range of seed. Garden seed includes seed potatoes, onion sets, all vegetable seeds, buckwheat and much more. We also carry several types of forage seed, pasture seed, corn, soybean, sunflower etc. All types of turf grass seed and professional preparation and seeding advice to go along with it!

Clothing and workwear

Our store now stocks a wide selection of footwear, work clothes, insulated coveralls and rain gear. Brand names include Viking, Outback, Hammil, Terra and GoEast. We also have a large section of gloves and hats to fill every application.
