From our trees to your customers, we take care at each stage to make sure our apples stay as fresh as the moment they were picked. As a producer-owned apple cooperative, we are committed to make sure our apples are the freshest, crispiest ones your customers can enjoy. Our Certified Crop Advisors provide our growers with the expertise to manage their orchards and improve growing practices by adapting new techniques suitable for our growing conditions. They help ensure that each year’s crop meets or exceeds our high quality standards. All our apples are carefully hand picked. Then, when they arrive at our Coldbrook, Nova Scotia facilities, they are carefully sorted and graded by weight, size and colour and finally carefully packed so when you bite into your Scotian Gold apple, you’ll enjoy every mouthful. No one takes more care growing, picking, processing and packing apples than we do. Scotian Gold apples are available almost year round thanks to the most current storage facilities. Our processing division, produces fresh sliced apple snacks available in several packaging formats from individual serve to made-for-sharing family sized packages. And our growers grow more than just apples. Seasonally, we offer potatoes, pears, plums, peaches and cherries. All of our produce is grown with the same care and attention to quality as our apples. |
